Explosion Suppression Components
Explosion suppression systems detect pressure changes in milliseconds and use explosion suppression technology. The explosion suppression system detects pressure changes in the dust collector in milliseconds and releases the explosion suppressant into the enclosed space a few milliseconds before the pressure in the dust collector reaches the explosion limit. The suppressant works by interfering with the reaction of the explosion, removing heat from the flame front of the explosion, reducing its temperature to below the temperature required to support combustion. The explosion suppressant also creates a barrier between flammable particles to prevent further heat transfer.
